Another year and another AdventureX done. This year we ran in conjunction with the British Library as part of International games week. Thanks to everyone’s support, we blazed through our Kickstarter and sold out all the tickets we had available via the British Library Ticket system. We have a feedback form up if you have anything you’d like to tell us about the event, you can be anonymous if you like.

We’ve started uploading the higher quality talk videos to YouTube. We were able to hire a videographer thanks to the success of the Kickstarter. The channel also holds talks from previous years, so there’s plenty to keep you entertained over the Winter break. Jon Ingold’s dialogue talk was featured on Kotaku, as well as getting a write up on Robert Yang’s Blog.

The Space Quest Historian outdid himself with an hour long travel Vlog featuring unnatural amounts of Irn-Bru.

Games journalist Jupiter Hadley stopped by and filmed a montage of the exhibitor’s hall as well as writing up exhibitor Future flashback at Indiegamesplus.

AdventureX regulars Adventure Gamers were back with an extensive three part breakdown of all the exhibitors. [Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3].

Jumpdashroll.com also did a multipart write up focusing on the games that caught their eye [Part 1] [Part 2] [Part 3].

The Indietoaster popped by on Sunday and played some games.

Adventure-Treff also continued their coverage of AdventureX with their largest team yet, they recorded a bunch of German language podcasts, as well as a few interviews such as this one with Dave Gilbert. (English)

During the event Cheeseness was taking some excellent photos of the speakers, so the thread is well worth checking out.

We still have a few great talks to release, and I’ll update once that’s done. If you’re planning to post a video or write up a blog entry then please Tweet us to let us know when it’s up so we can tell the world!
