Planning Your Journey

The British Library Travel Guide gives all the information you will need to find your way via public transport. If you are not familiar with London, we recommend you use the Transport For London Journey Planner to plot your route. Please allow plenty of time for your journey. Sometimes the greatest adventure of all is dealing with unreliable British public transport.

Parking

Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking at the British Library. The nearest Pay & Display Car Park is the Judd Street NCP Car Park, 10 minutes away.

Accessibility

The exhibition spaces and lecture theatre are wheelchair accessible. Kings Cross / St. Pancras and Euston both have step-free access. If you have any accessibility or health concerns which we should be aware of, please contact us and we’ll do our best to make you welcome at the event.
